Cast
Roger Alix-Gaudreau (Macbeth) is a 15-year theater veteran who has played many Shakespeare (and Shakespeare-adjacent) roles, a favorite being John Heminges in The Book of Will. He’s excited to return to City Park and bring this Macbeth to life. He thanks all the friends who collaborated to make this show a reality and his amazing wife for her trust and support.
Cliff Dike (Duncan, Porter, Second Murderer) is a veteran actor and producer of roughly 20 Shakespearean works in New England and in Scotland. He is delighted to again be working with MidCoast Shakespeare in this unique telling of Shakespeare's Scottish Play. He would like to thank his friends and family for their seemingly endless love and support.
Violet Ferlito (Second Witch) is a multi-disciplinary artist currently based in New England. She has worked with a variety of organizations including Rosie Havoc Productions, SecondStory Theatre Company, and the Brazen Bandits. Recently, her work has appeared in the second annual Trans Poetic Archive Poetry Anthology For Someone You Know. To learn more about her work please visit @violetferlito on Instagram.
Laura Graham (First Witch) began studying Shakespeare at 18 and later earned a BFA in Acting from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. As a military wife, she traveled widely and appeared in theaters around the US. Favorite Shakespeare roles include Cleopatra, Desdemona, and Viola. Laura is a lifelong animal lover, an expert horsewoman, and has worked as a wildlife rehabilitator.
Catherine Haverkampf (Ross/First Apparition) is a Massachusetts based actor and theatre artist. Having worked at theatres across the East Coast and internationally, she is thrilled to be back in Belfast after stage managing MCSS’s production of Twelfth Night last year. Favorite past roles include Viola de Lesseps in Shakespeare in Love and Jackie in Mauritius. Thanks and love to her family and to James.
Nolan Hart (Malcolm, Murderer 1) is a 12-year theater veteran back from a several year acting hiatus. This will be his third Shakespeare show. He’s excited to bring life to the story he’s come to know and love because of others in the cast. Thank you to his friends and family for their support, and Cliff for driving him to Maine each weekend.
Zeke Hickerson (Fleance) lives in Maine. His most recent role was Tinker in The Playhouse’s Perkin and the Pastry Cook. Zeke also likes to play soccer, sail, and draw comics (which can be found at the Selkie Pearl).
Michelle Leibowitz (Hecate) received her BA in Theater from Binghamton University and has over 30 years of experience as a theater performer. Last summer Michelle had the pleasure of playing Malvolio in MidCoast Shakespeare Studio’s production of Twelfth Night. Nick McMillan (Macduff) a recent transplant to Maine, is thrilled to make his first mainstage production appearance. He holds an M.A. in English Language and Literature from the University of Tulsa, served on the board of the Tulsa Shakespeare Company through its inaugural production, and gave performative readings in multiple roles with the University of Tulsa’s Shakespeare reading group.
Angelina Nichols (Lady Macduff) is a performer and playwright. Her play Lipstick premiered recently at MidCoast Shakespeare Studio and will appear at Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August. Another of her plays, Kitchen Knife, was featured in the 2026 Maine Playwright’s One Act Festival. Notable acting roles include Catherine in Proof and Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Noah Quigley (Child MacDuff) is a Waldo County middle schooler. He has been acting for five years with The Lace Theatre Company, Some Imaginarium Theatre and in many school productions. He’s deeply grateful to his family and his school drama teacher for supporting him and telling him to audition for this role.
Kathleen Reilly (Third Witch) has performed as a jazz/cabaret singer and in musical theater, with jazz bands, and choral groups. As an actor she has performed in historical plays and musical comedy. A favorite role in Belfast with Theatre Nouveau was Margaret in The Shakespeare Lonely Hearts Club. She had a non-stage career in public affairs and education.
Jennifer Snow (Lady Macbeth) is excited to be performing in (Lady) Macbeth and working with Midcoast Shakespeare! She lives in Bangor with her family and has performed with most of the theater ensembles throughout the Bangor area since moving to Maine in 2013.
Julianna Paniphone Sundara (Young Gruoch) is elated to return to Midcoast Shakespeare Studio after her role of Viola in Twelfth Night last summer. She’s an actress based in Brooklyn, NY, but Maine is her home. She would like to thank everyone involved for all their hard work and care, and her family for their support. Jordyn Woodard (Soldier/Servant/Third Apparition) began acting at the age of 10, with her first production being A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She holds a BA in Theatre from the University of South Carolina-Upstate but now calls Maine “home”.Thank you to her loving husband Josh, for encouraging her to continue her hobbies as a new mom. Jordyn dedicates her performance to their 1-year-old daughter Adelia.
HJ Woodsum (Banquo/Player Gille/Doctor/Lulach) has been acting for just over 25 years. Last summer, HJ appeared with MCSS as Sebastian/Cesario in Twelfth Night. Many thanks to Catherine, the crew, the SeaStrings, and, crucially, Hecate.
Production Team
Kat Alix-Gaudreau (Director) earned a BA in Theater from UMASS Amherst (1999) and an MA from the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-Upon-Avon, England (2018). She has developed and directed over 25 plays in the USA, UK, and Sicily. Kat was a professor of theater at Bridgewater State University, MA before moving to Belfast, Maine, where she co-founded MidCoast Shakespeare Studio.
Crys Bruschi (Production Manager) earned a BA in Theatre from University of Southern Maine. She has previously worked with Lakewood Theater, Midcoast Theater Company, The Maine 24 Hour Play Festival, Ogunquit Playhouse, and Penobscot Theatre. When time allows, she focuses on voiceover at her home studio. She thanks her husband Bill and their brilliantly funny twins.
Catherine Haverkampf (Assistant Movement Choreographer) is a Massachusetts based actor and theatre artist.
Krisha Hoyt-Mackler (Producer) graduated with BAs in Theater and English from Clark University in 2006 and has been producing, directing, acting, and managing theater companies in New England since. Favorite Shakespeare credits include Twelfth Night (Sir Andrew), Hamlet @ The Fringe (Producer), and Henry V @ The Fringe (Assistant Director & Producer). Outside of theater, she enjoys baking, reading, and camping with her wife, Chelsea.
Michelle Leibowitz (Movement Choreographer) is an Actor, Director, Choreographer and Theatre Educator with over 30 years of experience. Some of Michelle’s most recent shows she has worked on as Director/Choreographer are: Twelfth Night with Midcoast Shakespeare Studio - Movement Choreographer; Shakespeare in Love with Concord Players - Director/Choreographer; Henry V at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe with Ghost Light Players - Movement Choreographer; Cabaret with Vokes Players - Choreographer. Michelle is also going into her fourth year as Director of the Upper School Fall Play at Beaver Country Day School. Jazlynne Williams (Stage Manager) is excited for you to witness this new, exciting perspective on a classic story. Jazlynne just returned home from cruising on Virgin Voyages for 6 months! Some recent credits in Maine include Rocky Horror Show (PSM), Steel Magnolias (PSM), and Dial M for Murder (ASM). Samantha Wood (Costume Coordinator) graduated from UMaine Farmington in 2021 with BAs in Political Science and International and Global Studies where she began working on costumes. She took a break in 2021-2025 until she graduated from New England Law Boston. Her favorite show to costume was Hamlet, where they got to make an Ophelia body double who still haunts UMF’s Alumni Theater.
