Cymbeline

Cymbeline is a beautiful play about love, loyalty, and forgiveness. But, there are several complex, puzzling elements to contend with and in order for it to shine, the script needs some untangling. I am deeply excited to be partnering with Chris on this adaptation, so Cymbeline can finally get the love it deserves!
— Catherine Haverkampf

Shakespeare’s Cymbeline is our first development project. MidCoast Shakes is providing development support to theater artist Chris JM Maloney as he works on an original adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s rarer plays. Catherine Haverkampf is spearheading this project, with studio development and staged readings slated for Fall 2025.

We have held our auditions for our Summer Shakespeare Festival production of Twelfth Night in May, 2025–cast announcement coming soon!–we are still seeking to cast two roles, so please click below to learn more and register for auditions!
